Aziz, a first generation American, born to a Senegalese father and German mother, spent most of his life in New Hampshire before moving to Boston to study and play basketball at Brandeis University. Blessed with the gift of gab, Aziz ‘s ability to command a room became apparent at an early age, and from the onset, his older brothers pushed him to turn to hip hop as an outlet. Aziz began producing and recording his own music while at the Pomfret School in Connecticut, where he released the singles “Tic Tac Toe”, "Power in Attention" & “Praying For Rain.” Since the Fall of 2010, Aziz has shared the stage with the likes of Snoop Dogg, Fabolous, J Cole, Fareast Movement, Curren$y, Mac Miller, Big K.R.I.T, Smoke Dza, Stalley, Chris Webby amongst others. His latest project “Daydreams of A Spaceshot” dropped in August of 2011 and received very positive responses from the hip hop community. Aziz’s feet grounded in hip hop’s roots, lyrics filled with substance and truth, will only prove to be the shining light in an industry filled with empty hooks and sub-par beats.
